“Celebrity? Yes. Ready to lead? No.”

I think McCain’s continuing theme and series of campaign ads about celebrity Obama are perfect.  While Obama strutted around the world as presumptive nominee and wannabe president, establishing so very clearly his celebrity status, McCain kept campaigning.

As the election will be about who we want to lead the country, Obama has gotten so full of himself (ala John Edwards who thought he could do and get away with anything), he forgot that he still hasn’t won the nomination, nor the presidency.

This is almost comical relief to see the wannabee president with his homemade seal (is that a 50 or 57 star flag behind him), his trappings of presumptive office (check out the airplane), his cult following (beefed up with paid propagandists and bootlicking media), and his pronouncements of successes already (claims he led to cease fire in Georgia, no less), he forgot the basics:  he must first become the nominee and he must be elected later in the year.

More on Obama Fan Club

Here’s another McCain ad about Obama celebrity status and unreadiness to lead.

With Supporters Like These…

Parody or not, this pair of Obama supporters show all too well the caliber of some of the folks supporting him.  The ‘vote for Obama to prove you are not racist, if you don’t vote for him you are’ is all too true a theme from the Dear Leader’s followers.

Wow, I’m almost convinced to rethink my opposition to Obama.  He’s even got an iPod!

The religion of hope and change

Just what is Obama selling?!  What does he offer and, importantly, what, if anything, can he deliver?  Or, is “Hope and Change” simply old fashioned “Bait and Switch”?  I suspect the latter as Obama rarely stands by anything he says.  He argues over the definition of “is” to cover for his lies and omissions and to defend his flip-flops.  I don’t buy it, Obama is no more trustworthy than the stereotypical used car salesman.

About The Obama Cult

I created this Web site very specifically to comment on why I personally find Obama unsuitable to be President of the United States.  The Web site is owned and operated by me, Matthew J. Weaver.  Aside from my voter registration, I have no affiliation with any party, candidate, or other organization.  I am simply a private citizen using a Web site to share my personal opinions.

To be clear, I personally find Obama to be an arrogant, shameless, and empty-suited politician who is corrupt, lying, and willing to throw anyone aside should they get in the way of his quest.  He’s used the black community where it suited him, panders to any group for a vote, and claims credit for the work of others.  Further, he’s never done anything for himself and is quick to blame others when criticized.  I am especially troubled by his cult following and his paid a legion of foul mouthed morons who propagandize for him and respond to every criticism with derogatory, racist, and sexist rants. Finally, Obama’s cries of racism increasingly fall on deaf ears because he’s been the one using it to corner every advantage.

For clarity, I support Hillary Clinton for President and, as alternative I’ll either sit out the election or will vote for John McCain.  While there are numerous things about each of them that I do not agree with, overall I find both to be credible, respectful, and ready to be President from day one.  They both represent change and, most importantly,  offer experience, character, and stature to deliver.

And for full disclosure, I am not now, nor have I ever been, paid to write on behalf of or to support a candidate.

Matthew
